Nyko is a Cavapoo with a black and white coat. He's around 4 years old and 19 lbs. He's neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines and monthly prevention.
Gentle Nyko likes warm hugs and giving kisses. He's a napping enthusiast and one of the softest dogs you'll ever pet. His foster reports that he likes to snooze while they work from home and happily shares the big bed with her at night. Snuggling enthusiasts please apply.
Nyko is doing great with house and potty training. He's a delight on a leash and this gentleman has eyes for you and will ignore other dogs that you come across. He's happy to potty on a leash so he doesn't require a fenced yard in his new home. He's also working on basic training and he'll trade you a shake for a tasty treat!
Nyko is fostered with a 14 year old Chihuahua, they mutually ignore each other. His prior owners mentioned that he's afraid of cats, they make him nervous. His new home should be cat free for his comfort. He's done well with kids and can be placed with respectful children of all ages.
While Nyko mostly ignores other dogs, he does seem to have some resource guarding. If he has a toy bone and another dog is present, he'll growl to warn them that they're his alone. Outside of toys, he happily ignores other dogs at home or out and about. He can be placed with other similarly sized or smaller dogs, he can also be a solo dog in his new home.
Nyko is ready for his fur-ever family. He's doing great with leash, house, and potty training and doesn't require a fenced yard in his new home. He'd happily be an only child or share with a similarly sized or smaller doggie sibling. He's kid friendly, no cats please.
