Lilly is a Chihuahua mix with a tricolor (tan, white, black) coat. She's around 7 years old and 14 lbs. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives.

Lilly is a bright and sweet girl, curious about the world and very attentive to her environment. She loves to sit with you, adores getting pets - especially scratches behind her ears. Her favorite place to sleep at night is snuggled up next to you.

Lilly was originally adopted from Fawn's several years ago. She came back due to a change of circumstances in her prior home. The prior changes in her home life seems to have led to some anxiety with new people and environments; thankfully with patience and love she's blossoming in her foster home!

Lilly struggles with environment changes. We don't have the details, but we know she's unimpressed with new people, which is on brand for Chihuahua. Unfortunately, she particularly distrusts men and loudly expresses her displeasure if they attempt to approach her. She's also an excellent doorbell and neighborhood watch enthusiast. While she takes patience, time, and love to become comfortable in a new home, she's a curious girl and cuddler at heart.

Lilly is doing well with house and potty training, she's great with potty pads. She's doing well following her canine foster sibling outside to go potty in the yard. She loves having access to fenced back yard, she enjoys strolling the back yard with her nose in the air. She can get distracted in the yard and she'll occasionally forget to potty outside, then she'll use the pads once she gets back in. Lilly doesn't do well on a leash and needs a home with a fenced yard to continue her potty training success.

Lilly gets along well with her similarly sized foster dog sibling. She's good at watching her to see what she's doing, like going outside to the yard or snuggling with foster mom. She'd benefit from a confident, calm canine sibling who's her size or smaller. If you're home often, she can be an only dog. Lilly currently lives with a cat sibling, she likes to chase her, her new home should be cat free.

Lilly is ready for a fur-ever family to call her own. She definitely prefers the ladies and would do best with adults. Her ideal home has patient adopters who are home often, especially if she's going to be an only dog. She can have similarly sized doggie siblings, they need to be confident and respectful. No cats or young kids in her new home, they're too unpredictable for Lilly, lover of routines and consistent schedules.
