Jupiter is a Heinz-57 with a darling black coat with white markings. She's around 36 lbs and is nearly 5 years old, her birthday is June 25, 2021. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives.
Jupiter is the planet of luck and anyone who adopts her will be lucky indeed. She's an experienced project supervisor who enjoys sniffy walks, dramatic sighs, and passing judgement upon all neighbors who walk by. She's a delightful addition to any neighborhood watch program, her speciality is alerting you to outside commotions.
Lucky lass Jupiter is a daddy's girl through and through, she'd be a great ride-along dog. She adores to play, especially with her foster dad, and tug-of-war is her favorite game. She enjoys rope toys, antlers, and she's always ready to shred a squeaky toy! Food in any form is priority over everything else.
Jupiter is a joy on a leash, she has excellent manners and a fancy gait when she's out walking. Outside of her neighborhood watch role, she's very quiet and doesn't require a lot of exercise. Due to a lack of socialization with other dogs early in life, she'd do best as an only dog in her new home. So far, she hasn't met any cats. She does lovely with older kids and would enjoy a fur-ever home with dog-savvy teenagers.
Jupiter is doing great with house, potty, and crate training. She's happy to go potty in the yard or on a walk. She likes her crate and keeps it immaculate, she's a professional blanket organizer and makes sure they're just right before settling down.
Jupiter is a good girl who requires Firm boundaries. She recently began muzzle training with her foster and is enjoying it - especially the whipped cream. Speaking of whipped cream, that's the best way to get her to take meds. If you're unfamiliar with muzzle training, it can be a great tool to help nervous dogs, especially when they're in unfamiliar situations. Her training has already helped her confidence, she's more comfortable at the vet and much happier taking her meds.
Jupiter is ready for a loving home with experienced adopters. This daddy's girl needs a calm environment with confident humans who are prepared to continue her socializing success. She's doing great with house, potty, and leash training and doesn't require a fenced yard. Through she'd certainly enjoy one for play time. She needs to be an only dog, she'd be happy with adults or in a home with respectful teens. Cats unknown.
