Gabby is a darling Dachshund with a charming chocolate coat. She's around 10 years old and a robust 15 lbs. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives.
Gabby is a quiet sweetheart who enjoys lounging around the house and exploring her yard. When she first arrives in a new environment, she can come across as reserved. As she acclimates and gets to know you, you'll see her confident personality shine. She'll definitely steal your heart!
As the founding member of the "Welcome home" committee, Gabby takes her daily duties seriously. When you arrive home, she’s ready to greet you with a happy wagging tail. When she's done with her committee duties, she loves to sleep and adores cozy dog beds. This smart lady knows that if she gets warm she can nap on the floor to cool off.
Gabby is sure you noticed her most famous accessory, her luxuriously long tongue. Gabby's tongue is fabulously featured due to her lack of teeth. Fear not, Gabby continues to enjoy tasty soft foods and treats. She and her vet did have a chat about adding more exercise and being more discerning with her food to help her lose a few pounds. She knows that as a dachshund, maintaining a trim figure can only help her live a lovely long life.
Gabby is doing great with house and potty training. She does best with a regular routine. Like any dog, she may have a few accidents while adjusting to a new schedule. Her new home must have a securely fenced yard so she can potty safely while she continues working on leash training.
Gabby is a happy and overall healthy darling of a dog who's ready for a fur-family. She does great with other small dog and is good with kids 7+ years or older. She'd be happy as a solo dog or with respectful doggie siblings. Since she's working on leash training, she needs a securely fenced yard in her future home so she can continue her potty training success.
