Miss Piper is as pretty as she is soft and smart! This clever girl knows sit, lay down, turn, and touch. She's working on roll over and many more. She's been known to enjoy food puzzles and lickimats. However, her primary goals in life are sniffing, chasing, and snuggling!

This cuddling queen adores her humans. She feels compelled to supervise them in all activities and likes to participate - even if the task doesn't require a dog's assistance. While she is absolutely adorable, she has separation anxiety and throws fits if she doesn't get to supervise properly. To help reduce her anxiety, and help her learn to regulate without constantly needing humans, Piper is trying some medication. Their purpose is to help her relax and sleep more. It's not uncommon for dogs who've gone through big transitions to need a little help.

Delightful Piper loves to play with toys! The more toys the better, she loves to collect of the toys into her bed or a chair.

Piper is doing well with house and potty training. She does best with regular potty breaks. Sometimes life, such as meeting new people, is so exciting that she literally can't contain herself.  She's less likely to burst with excitement if she's had an opportunity to take a potty break before guests arrive.

Walking Piper is an activity that requires your attention, she explores face first and you'll find yourself periodically removing inedible items from her mouth. Her favorite activity is chasing and treeing squirrels, and other small creatures.

Piper is a diamond in the ruff. This cute chaos queen is excited to join a new family. She'd adore being an only dog, she's initially wary of male dogs and seems to prefer calmer, similarly sized companions. Piper is an active girl and needs someone who's ready to exercise and engage with her. No cats or other small animals, they're to fun to chase. Given her leash skills, her new home doesn't require a yard.

Given Piper's personality and background, breed experience is strongly preferred. She needs someone who can give her boundaries and love while helping her come out of survival mode so she can live a life with less anxiety and transition into the darling companion dog she's destined to become.
