Jody

Jody's ideal home has one or more doggie siblings, big or small. To continue her potty-training success, her ideal home has a fenced yard. She'd do best with adults or a family with older, respectful dog-savvy kids.

Like many Dachshunds, Jody is initially wary of new people.  Since her socialization is still a work in progress, Jody is rated for homes with older, respectful, dog-savvy kids. Her new family must understand that she's still learning about the outside world. She'll need patient adopters who are ready to work with her and continue training her to be a confident canine citizen!

Jody is the president of the cuddle bug club! She adores cuddling with her humans and her doggie siblings. She's done well with other dogs big and small, she'd thrive with at least one or more doggie siblings in her new home.  If you're someone who's at home most of the day, Jody might be able to compromise about her need for furry friends. As a velcro dog, Jody's used to having a lot of dogs around and prefers to have company.
