George is an affectionate boy who bonds deeply with his people and truly wants to be close to them. He loves to be held and his foster reports that he's an excellent work from home companion. He'll happily accompany you around the house or relax nearby.
George is treat motivated which is a plus for his house, potty, leash, and car training. He even behaves well for baths and other grooming. Like many young dogs he can be easily scared by loud noises or sudden movements, especially at night. For his safety and potty training success, he requires a securely fenced yard. Overall, George is making good progress in his training and he'll continue to thrive with patience, a consistent routine, and positive reinforcement.
George's fur-ever family must have patient people, committed to continuing his training and socialization. At 13 months, this gentle fellow is still a puppy in many ways, especially with potty training. He'd prefer a home where people are home often, if you're away frequently he'll need doggie siblings to keep him company. George has the temperament and qualities needed to be an exceptional family dog: affectionate, gentle, and loyal. All he needs now is the right family.
