My ideal home:

  • Has a yard (recommended)

Chilly's name comes from his predominantly chill nature, for a Mini Dachshund. He seems to acclimate well to new environments. He adores humans of all sizes, he can be a bit reserved if his environment is loud or chaotic so he'd prefer a home with adults or dog-savvy older children. He likes having access to a crate where he can wander in and out at his leisure.

Chilly loves to play with other dogs, he does best in a pack environment. He likes to play chase with his friends and enjoys toys! He does enjoy the occasional pot stirring and has been known to bark to try and rile up his friends to play with him or cause a drama together. He doesn't like being alone and will fuss if he finds himself without a dog or human friend. His new home must have at least one playful, similarly sized dog to be his buddy, the more the merrier!

Chilly's ideal home has adopters who are around the house during the day. This will help continue his house and potty training success. He'd do well with adults and dog-savvy older children. His new home must have at least one similarly sized doggie playmate. Since he'll follow his nose and isn't afraid to dig and wiggle out of a yard, he needs to go to a home where people are ready to take him out on a leash.
