Bella is a sweet and feisty beauty! Don't let her age fool you, she may be 14 but she doesn't let a number slow her down. She's an energetic lady who enjoys going for walks, especially sniffy trail adventures. She likes to explore swiftly and sniff leisurely. She's doing wonderful with house and potty training, she's best with a regular schedule.


Bella is a clever girl who loves chews and squeaky toys. She occasionally resources guards toys from her doggie friends, she's very correctible. Some times this sassy girl snags something to chew that she shouldn't, every so often she tries to taste test an item. She is working on "drop it" and can be distracted with a snack or a squeaky toy.


Bella love people she can also be independent. This clever girl will alert you to her needs, she'll do a huff-puff and some times a little jump. This can mean that she needs to go potty or that she wants your time and attention. Bella previously lived with children, they were 10 and older. She does well with dog-savvy, respectful people of all sizes.


Bella's ideal home has someone who's around at least part of the day. She thrives on regular routine, especially for house and potty training success. She enjoys other small/medium dogs, she can be placed with a dog-savvy cat. She's rated for families with respectful, dog-savvy kids, ideally 12+ years or older. Given her Dachshund and Chihuahua traits, she'd do best in a home with adopters who are familiar with sassy, feisty small dogs.
