Beau

Schnauzer lovers rejoice! Brown-eyed boy Beau is a sweet and cuddly senior. This black beauty is a typical Schnauzer, don't let his age fool you he can act like a playful puppy, make silly noises, and has the standard Schnauzer bark. He is a skillful gentleman and enjoys a good walk.

Beauregard can be a darling and a diva. If he doesn't feel as though he is being appreciated or you have the audacity to leave him for too long, he will bark to alert you of your misdeeds. He is crate trained and is doing well with house training. Every so often he may try and mark, however, we think this may be related to a prior urinary issue. He had a cystotomy and now that he has healed and is on the correct food (Hill's i/d), his house training has continued to improve.

Beau enjoys other meeting other dogs with appropriate introductions. However, he is used to being an only child and we have seen him get jealous of other dogs in the home and act out. He does do well with cats.
