About Tina:

  • Yard optional

  • Dog, cat, kid friendly

Tina is an apple-head Chihuahua with a darling tricolored coat. She's a happy girl and 11 years young. She's around 16-17 lbs. She's spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives.

Tina was taken into the rescue when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Prior to her arrival at Fawn's, she was overfed and weighed a robust 20 lbs! She's adjusting well to her new schedule, eating two meals a day, and her foster was delighted to tell us that she's down 3.5+ lbs

When Tina first arrived she was hesitant to open up in her new environment. This sweet girl has acclimated quickly to her new home. She's enjoying her 3 three small breed siblings and has started sleeping in the big bed with them and foster mom. She also has a cat foster-sibling, they ignore each other and she's perfectly content with that.

Tina is a smart lady, she's doing great with house and potty training. She's good at following directions and she'll go potty on a leash or do her business in the yard.

Tina is sweet and a bit independent, she enjoys lounging and supervising the neighborhood from her window adjacent chair. She's not a big barker, she does have excellent side eye and other sassy expressions. She's happy to be by herself or hang with her foster siblings.

Tina is ready for her fur-ever family. This sweetheart is the whole package - dog, cat, and kid friendly. She's doing great with house and potty and doesn't require a fenced yard. Her primary requirement is adopters committed to continuing her weight loss journey with proper food and activities.
